What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon

Book - What the wind knows by Amy Harmon

Genre - Historical fiction

Pages - 411

My rating - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is meant for people who love history meets time travel meets romance with a hint of fantasy genre.

Every chapter in this book starts with a poem by W.B. Yeats. Yeats was an irish poet, and this book felt like a loving ode to him. The poems set the mood for the entire chapter and were fitting as if they were meant for this book. If you've never read his poems before, you'll definitely want to read his works.

The history of Ireland during the Irish
revolutionary period ( 1916-1922) is thoroughly described and is very insightful.
I loved the way every relationship in this book was cherished and the memories were preserved as precious stories, especially between Owen and Anne.

We turn memories into stories, and if we don’t, we lose them. If the stories are gone, then the people are gone too.

I listened to the audiobook of this book and the narration was so beautiful and melodic that it made me fall in love with not only the this book but also this genre.
