★★We would like to thank the author for providing us an E-book  version of the book to review!!★★

This book is centered around 3 main characters- Nanda, Khusru and Rekha and each character is explained at depth from tracing their family lineage to the point where all three of them converge at Dhauladhar.

.The story revolves around how an introduction of a hydel project disrupts the lifestyle of local population along with immigrant people who worked there for the construction.Description of this hilly town set in north india where people conventionally relied on sheep rearing was very detailed
The author did a good job at nailing the lingo of the local people of both south and north india and made it appear authentic.

The story is good and quite novel with all the intricacies about the characters and their lives . But that's the only part I liked because the book is overloaded with technical details which honestly were too overbearing.

I felt that the book could've been edited more to spare readers about too much information regarding construction of a dam as at one point I felt I was reading a construction manual.Certain parts of the story were incoherent and  the ending was quite abrupt but some can term it open ended so it's another uncertain part about the book.

In all I would recommend this book to people who like to read books set in India and detailed plots.
